Justin McCoy, DO, is originally from Washington state. He earned a bachelor's degree in Provo, Utah followed by his medical degree from Midwestern University in Arizona. He completed his residency in Scottsdale, Arizona, at Osborn Medical Center. During this time, he worked with the Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics baseball teams during Spring Training. He then moved to Boise, Idaho to complete further training in Sports Medicine at Boise State University where he worked with all the Division I athletes and was the team physician for the women's Soccer team.Dr. McCoy�s objective is to build relationships of trust with his patients and with the community by providing excellent, thoughtful and compassionate care. He takes his patients� goals into account when developing treatment plans with them that will ultimately help them reach their health and athletic goals. He is also ideally suited to provide comprehensive medical care for the non-athlete with muscle, tendon, bone or joint problems.Dr. McCoy is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the Performing Arts Medical Association and he also serves on the Western Colorado Concussion Alliance. Dr. Jacob Miller was raised on a ranch near Elko, Nevada, and spent much of his time on horseback, either working as a cowboy or competing in rodeo.�He completed a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Colorado State University and a medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha.�His training took him to Greeley and the North Colorado Family Medicine Residency, followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.�Dr. Miller practiced for eight years in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he served as head team physician of Northern State University and four area high schools.�He then transitioned to Intermountain Health and is excited to be back to his Western roots.Dr. Miller offers the most current and advanced practices in non-operative sports medicine and athlete medical care while maintaining a patient-centered approach.�His clinical interests include exercise prescription, bone health, athlete mental health, concussion, and musculoskeletal pain and injury. He is passionate about education and research, serving as a Clinical Associate Professor for the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and conducting studies in rodeo injury, concussion management, and student-athlete wellbeing.�Outside of medical practice, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, acting, and writing.His philosophy of care is to work collaboratively with patients to maximize their potential in health and life.
